10 Cars We Can’t Wait to Arrive for the 2023 Model Year

Each new model year brings us more cars, trucks, and SUVs that we love to drive. Here are ten cars coming for the 2023 model year that you’ll be glad to see.

Whether you look forward to the upcoming onslaught of EVs or you’re ready to see what the next generation of your favorite truck brings, the 2023 model year has a lot of what you’ll want. Some models only receive a refresh, and that gives us a little more of what we want to enjoy when it’s time for a drive. Let’s take a look.

The Acura Integra is Back

Could there be a more exciting headline coming out of the Acura brand? We’ll see a new Integra for the upcoming model year, giving us a sporty luxury sedan that’s sure to be a big hit when it arrives with its retro styling. The turbocharged 1.5-liter engine gives you 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque, bringing a serious performance package to the road. Oh yeah, this car also brings a six-speed manual transmission to give us the engagement we’ve missed.

Another Alfa Romeo SUV hits the Market

The new 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale is one of the most exciting vehicles heading our way. This is easily one of the cars for the 2023 model year that we’ve been waiting for. Alfa takes it’s time bringing new models to the market, but it’s about time the Stelvio had a running mate. The Tonale delivers a PHEV powertrain with a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine at its heart. This gives the small Alfa 272 horsepower and 30 miles of electric driving range.

The New BMW XM is Exciting

Moving from concept to production, the upcoming BMW XM retains much of what makes it an enticing SUV. This will only be the second M-Division-Exclusive vehicle from BMW. The first was the venerable M1 that’s cemented its place in history. The BMW XM brings 750 horsepower coming from a PHEV V8 powertrain, offering plenty of power for the desired performance. This new model also shows off with upgraded styling we expect to translate to future BMW SUV models, giving this brand a new styling signature.

the Z06 is Here!

It’s time to get extremely excited about the C8 Chevrolet Corvette and its performance lineup. One of the most anticipated cars for the 2023 model year is the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. This car brings a new engine, a 5.5-liter V8 that can pump out 670 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. This smaller engine allows this car to be lightning-quick, delivering a sprint time of 2.6 seconds to 60 mph. This is the performance car we’ve been looking forward to ever since the C8 arrived.

The Ranger Gets the Raptor Steroid Treatment

Ford, a domestic brand, has held out on us for quite a while. The Ford Ranger Raptor has been offered overseas for a couple of years, but not in the United States. The 2023 model year marks a change in that situation. We will finally have the Raptor version of the Ranger, which should be a midsize truck that tops the charts for power, off-road capabilities, and aggressive styling. Get ready for some serious fun in the wilderness when this truck arrives.

The New Genesis G90 is Stunning

Every luxury car brand should take notice of what Genesis brings with the new 2023 G90. This is truly one of the most impressive cars for the upcoming 2023 model year. The looks are incredible and signal what we should expect to see as more models are upgraded from this brand. The light signature is elegant, the lines are sophisticated, and the large grill gives us a hint of aggressive driving. Will the 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine make it to the lineup? We certainly hope so.

A Seductive Electric Sedan from Hyundai Arrives

The new Hyundai Ioniq 6 will hit the market for 2023, giving us an all-electric sedan that looks and feels amazing. We don’t know everything about this car yet, but you can expect it to have a larger battery pack than the Ioniq 5 compact SUV. This would give the car more power and driving range, allowing owners to experience an increase in the qualities they enjoy in the electric vehicle market. Could this be the EV you want to drive?

The First Electric Lexus Arrives

Lexus announced it would electrify the entire lineup of vehicles in the future. The first of these to arrive is the RZ. This SUV is the battery-powered sibling to the RX, and it’s one of the most anticipated cars of the 2023 model year. Using the same e-TNGA platform as the Toyota BZ4X, this luxury SUV will give us new style and luxury driving qualities from a brand we trust to be extremely reliable and sophisticated. Could this SUV be the luxury EV you want to enjoy?

The Nissan Z-Car Family Continues and We Couldn’t be Happier

The next version of the Nissan Z-car lineup arrives for 2023 to be an exciting car to drive. This impressive model is called the Nissan Z. Without a doubt, this car is one of the most exciting and desirable cars coming for the 2023 model year. If you’re looking for a sports car that brings heritage goodies to the mix, this is the car you’ll want to drive. Check out the looks, the power, and the performance that give you an exciting ride.

A Performance Hot Hatch Arrives from Toyota

If you thought the Volkswagen Golf GTI would be the last hot hatch in America, you’re wrong. The New GR Corolla arrives in hatchback form with an impressive, turbocharged power plant. This engine is the same 1.6-liter turbo-three we’ve seen in foreign models of the GR Yaris. This small car could push the limits with 270 horsepower and a manual transmission, giving this car all the fun you could ask for out of a hatchback.

Which one of these cars coming for the 2023 model year are you looking forward to driving? We don’t have to wait much longer; the model year calendar is about to turn over to 2023.
