The 2023 Cadillac Escalade Joins the V-Series Lineup
If you love high-performance vehicles and enjoy the luxury offered by the Cadillac Escalade, well, you’re in for a treat. Cadillac has announced that its new 2023 Escalade will be the first SUV to be offered in a V-Series.
The V-Series badge is reserved for vehicles that feature top-tier performance, handling, and tech features. The V-Series first rolled out in 2004 and the models in its class quickly became widely accepted and praised for their step up in power, performance, interior build, and more. From the latest technology, to comfort features, and optional add-ons, models in the V-Series are one of the most popular vehicles offered by Cadillac.
As the V-Series expands into its fourth generation, Cadillac has announced that the lineup will include its first ever Escalade-V. Much like all the other models in the ultra-high performance lineup, there is plenty for consumers to look forward to.
Highlights of the Cadillacs V-Series Badge
With most models found in the V-Series lineup, a high-performance V8 engine is coupled with a high-performance transmission. A revised suspension system, an intentionally redefined body, and improved aerodynamic performance are all staples of a V-Series. With each generation, enhanced tech, comfort, and interior features are also included so as to create a vehicle that is elevated both in performance and style. While the V-Series badge has usually been reserved for the sedans in the brand’s lineup, many are enthused that Cadillac has finally chosen to pull in the Escalade as well.
What Will the Escalade-V Offer?
There’s been a lot of buzz about what the Escalade-V will feature. And while Cadillac has offered a sliver of a glimpse into what consumers can expect with the 2023 Cadillac Escalade V, they detail that full tech specs will drop on May 11th, 2022.
In accordance with other models in the V-Series lineup, it’s anticipated that the Escalade-V will offer a supercharger alongside the 6.2L V8 LT4 gas-powered engine. This is the same engine found in other vehicles in the lineup including the Cadillac CTS-V, Chevy Camaro ZL1, Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, and C7 Corvette Z06.
As the release date slowly encroaches, enthusiasts are also expecting a step up in luxury. Drivers can look forward to the height of comfort and luxury merging with the high-performance features of traditional V-Series models. In the newly refined Escalade-V, the best of both these worlds can only mean an SUV that exudes quality and excellence, both inside and out.
As detailed by the brand’s press release, “Cadillac’s V-Series is the ultimate expression of Cadillac design, performance and technology and the purest expression of the passion that exists at the core of the Cadillac brand.” This sliver into the Escalled-V’s offerings still leaves a bit to the imagination, but certainly sets the bar high as far as what drivers will be met with.
Seeing as the other models in the V-Series lineup truly are some of the best in class, the Escalade-V will likely not disappoint. In a teaser released by GM, eager Cadillac lovers can get a modest glimpse into what’s to come.
