The Chrysler Name is Ready for a Resurgence

The Chrysler brand has dwindled down to only two models, which has made us wonder if the brand would eventually be dropped from the FCA family.

Thankfully, news has surfaced that Chrysler will be revitalized and enjoy a resurgence to offer us more of what we want to enjoy for the future. In fact, the way that FCA will improve the Chrysler brand may show that this company was ahead of the rest of the brands they compete with.

Expected Changes to the Chrysler Brand

Tipo/Neon

The Dodge Neon was part of the FCA family in the past, and it is still sold in Europe as the Tipo. This model might be brought to the US and sold as the Chrysler Neon, which would signify that this model is one that would offer a higher level of quality features for the drive if it does make its way to the lineup. This is a bit of a reach though.

Chrysler 300

The FCA team has looked around the different models they sell to try and figure out where they can add the Hellcat engine. The Chrysler 300 seems to be a sensible choice as the next place we might see a sedan that has over 700 horsepower when it’s time for the drive on the road. Can you imagine a car that has the quality features of the 300 that has the power of the Challenger Hellcat? We certainly can and it may be the next Chrysler item we see.

Chrysler Pacifica

The Pacifica has been freshened to give us this minivan with some new upgrades that will make it even better. The Pacifica has quickly become the leading minivan on the market and one that can easily give us the qualities that make sense for a family to have the drive desired on the road.

Midsize Crossover

No name has been assigned to the new Chrysler crossover that will be offered, but a new FWD model will be built at the Belvidere Assembly Plant in Illinois. We should receive news of the name and have this SUV shown off at one of the auto shows before going on sale. This SUV is expected to share a platform with the Jeep Cherokee and offer three rows of seats.

Chrysler Portal

The Portal showed up as the autonomous minivan concept from Chrysler and it receives a ton of praise. This van is a long way from making its way to production, but it hasn’t been forgotten or sent back to the drawing board yet.

Full-Size Crossover

Another SUV will arrive that will wear the Chrysler badge and it will be a full-size crossover model that will likely wear the Aspen name in 2021. This SUV is expected to share the platform with the Pacifica to give it the size and the build that’s needed to make this a quality model that will have the features and items that you want to enjoy on the road.
