Going Driving in the Ram Rebel
A drive that makes going out on the road more fun means you need the vehicle that’s built for the bumps, rough trails, and the steepness of hills and other challenges offered. Trails and areas that aren’t paved offer a specific challenge to what you need when you head out for a great drive. One of the most engaging trucks that you can use for the trail riding you want to enjoy is the Ram Rebel. This truck is easy to understand and enjoy when it’s time to hit the trails around you.
What is the Ram Rebel
For the 2019 model year, Ram decided to upgrade the 1500 model and add an excellent off-road package to the truck that we already love to drive. This off-road package is the difference between the truck taking the abuse of the trails and that rough drive and driver abuse being translated into the cabin. The Rebel is more capable and confident on the trails than any other truck in this class to give you the power and the drive you’re looking for. If you want to have a truck that’s able to handle the ride no matter where you need to go, this is the one.
Packaging the Way You Want
The rear of the Ram Rebel uses an independent suspension and a locking differential to give you the capabilities you’re looking for on the trails. The rear axle is massive as a Chrysler 9.25 model and you get to enjoy an HB transmission and a strong Hemi engine that makes a full 395 horsepower for the drive that will get you where you need to go. The torque level comes in at 401 lb.-ft. giving you the capability you need at the lower ends of the rev range so that you can get through the trails you’ll find.
Easy to Use 4WD in this Ram
Just like many of the other models on the market today, the Ram Rebel is built with a dial transmission instead of the shifter. This gives you more room for gear and small items that you need to take with you up front. Next to the shift knob, you’ll see the buttons that allow you to select the driving system you want. You can choose 2WD, 4WD High, or 4WD Low and have the Rebel in the right setting for the terrain you’re on.
Looks that Make the Ride in the Rebel
Out back, the Rebel shows off with dual exhaust ports and up front,it gives you the view of a hood vent that looks angry and mean. Inside the cabin, you’re going to find a variety of leather pieces and the sport seats that make this truck feel like it belongs on a track instead of on a trail. The front seats are heated to give you even more comfort when you drive, making the Rebel and easy choice as the truck you’ll want to drive every day.
This Truck Has Your Drive in Mind
When you take to the trails and you’re faced with loose soil, sand, or mud, you need to create some wheel spin in order to get through and move to the other side of the trail. The Ram Rebel allows you to keep the wheels spinning in order to make sure you can handle every terrain offered when you take this truck out on the trails for a drive. You’re going to love the feeling of power and traction offered in the Rebel, no matter what the ground is made of that you’re driving on.
