It has been discussed at length and mulled over for months, but finally the new 2016 Volvo XC90 will come to market and be an SUV we want to drive. This SUV could actually make the run to sixty mph in only 6.1 seconds; not bad at all for a heavy and large SUV that is powered by only four-cylinders.

The T8 engine offered for this SUV pushes all its power to front wheels while being aided by a rear mounted electric motor that adds 177 horsepower. This pairing gives you the output of 400 horsepower and 443 lb.-ft. of torque to give you a time to sixty mph of 5.9 seconds and a more efficient system. The plug in version allows you to enjoy 25 miles of driving in only electric mode to make for a much more efficient ride. Both engines use smooth performing eight-speed automatic transmissions to be a pair of highly formidable engines that have been engineered for lighter weight and more power.
