The New Toyota Tundra Is Ready for Anything

The Toyota Tundra pickup truck is known for its capabilities, strong powertrains, and its style. While it’s a great pickup truck as it is, many truck drivers like to head to the auto parts store and get extra accessories to bump up performance or add some off-road extras. Well, with the 2025 Toyota Tundra, you can get them all right from the factory with the TRD Rally Package and other new optional and standard features.

A Racing Heritage Brought to Your Next Pickup Truck

Since the big news for the 2025 Toyota Tundra is the new TRD Rally Package, we’ll start there. The features of this package are based on the Baja racing heritage, right down to the red, orange, and yellow color scheme.

You’ll be able to tackle all kinds of terrain with the 18-inch TRD off-road wheels and all-terrain tires. The skid plate makes sure to protect all the important components when you’re driving over rocky and rough surfaces, and with crawl control and multi-terrain select, you’ll make quick work of even the most challenging terrain.

Rally on the Inside, too

The Rally Package is not just equipment on the outside. There are nods to TRD on the inside, too. You’ll see it on the TRD shift knob and steering wheel. The red TRD start button also helps to set this Tundra apart from the others in the lineup.

A More Comfortable Cabin for Work and Play

Toyota wants you to stay comfortable whether you’re driving the Tundra or just enjoying the ride. It now comes with massaging seats for both the driver and the front-seat passenger. You can create your own oasis in the Tundra with options for both an upper body and lower body massage, and several intensities to choose from. What’s even better, is you can keep the massage going, even after you stop and park the Tundra.

Powertrains for Every Need

Whether you’re looking for power, efficiency or both, you can get it with the new Tundra. The standard engine is a twin-turbo V-6. The i-FORCE generates 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, while the i-FORCE Max is a hybrid powertrain with 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque.

If you’ve looked at Toyota in recently, you’ve probably seen the i-FORCE Max hybrid. It uses both the twin-turbo V-6 and a motor generator to provide some EV driving.

Off-Road Capabilities

The Toyota Tundra is always read for off-road adventures, but some models have more equipment to make the challenge easier. The TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road Package come with the off-road extras you want, without having to go to the auto parts store to get them.

When you look down the road and see challenging terrain, you’ll know your Tundra is ready to take it on with features such as the Multi-Terrain monitor that allows you to check your surroundings for obstacles. It takes just the touch of a button, and cameras allow you to see what’s in front of you, behind you, and on both sides.
