The new EV9 is the same size as the midsize Telluride, but it rides on an electric platform. Plenty of power for the drive
This new Kia electric SUV comes with the choice of two battery packs, the option of either RWD or AWD, and five trim choices: Light, Light Long Range, Wind, Land, and GT-Line.
The base Light model uses a 76.1-kWH battery and one electric motor that powers the rear wheels. This version makes 215 horsepower and has a driving range of 230 miles. The Light Long Range uses a larger 99.8-kWh battery but only produces 201 horsepower while increasing the driving range to 304 miles.
Moving up the range, the Wind, Land, and GT-Line models all come with the dual-motor AWD system that produces 379 horsepower. The Wind and Land models can drive up to 280 miles on a charge, and the GT-Line version has a 270-mile driving range.
