Mazda’s Class Leading SUV Lineup Is Best of the Best For 2024

Mazda's Class Leading SUV Lineup Is Best of the Best For 2024

With SUVs such as the CX-30, CX-5, and the new CX-90 as part of its lineup, it really doesn’t come as much of a surprise that U.S. News and World Report awarded Mazda the title of Best SUV Brand.

The award is based on driving dynamics, quality, and all the fun stuff in the cabin, including tech and comfort, and Mazda easily outclassed the SUVs you’d find at most other car dealerships.

A Spruced Up Entry-Level CX-30

If you’re headed to car dealerships in search of a small SUV, the 2024 Mazda CX-30 has everything you need. This subcompact SUV has a sleek exterior look, especially if you choose the new Carbon Turbo trim with 18-inch black metallic wheels, black side mirrors with heat and memory function, and black exterior trim. Inside, a 10.3-inch touchscreen houses Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the 8-speaker stereo is perfect when you want to turn up the volume on your favorite music.

New Technology for the CX-5

The CX-5 is next in line in the Mazda SUV lineup. It has a new i-Stop auto start/stop feature that helps make it even more fuel efficient, and like the CX-30, this Mazda SUV also has the new Carbon Turbo trim. All of the CX-5 models get the 10.3-inch touchscreen, and if you have the Premium Plus or the Turbo models, you’ll get wireless charging.

Power for the CX-5 comes from either the standard four-cylinder engine with 187 horsepower or a 256-horsepower turbo four-cylinder. Either of these will immediately respond when you press on the gas, and both work with a zippy six-speed automatic transmission.

Superior Ride and Handling with the CX-50

Looking for a compact SUV with plenty of zoom-zoom? The Mazda CX-50 not only sports a rugged exterior look and luxurious interior, but it also has the agile handling and zip you expect when you get behind the wheel of a Mazda. The engine lineup is the same as the CX-5, but it received some suspension tweaks for 2024, making handling even better.

The list of trims for this Mazda SUV ranges from simple and elegant to downright luxurious. The Turbo is a good place to start, though. It has the turbo engine, so you get the extra power, and it comes with features that make it fun and comfortable, such as a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, the larger 10.3-inch touchscreen that works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and you can stay warm on those chilly mornings with heated front seats.

An All-New CX-90

There’s a new three-row SUV in town. The CX-90 is the new three-row SUV you’ll find at Mazda instead of the CX-9 as the top-of-the-line model these days. The power is new too. A turbo six-cylinder engine with a mild hybrid feature sends you on your way, but there’s also a plug-in hybrid that uses a four-cylinder and an electric motor. This version of the CX-90 can go up to 26 miles on pure electric power.

If you want to start at the top when shopping for an SUV, the best car dealerships to start your search are your local Mazda dealerships. This is where you’ll find award-winning SUVS in all shapes and sizes. And there’s something for everyone, whether you want small and simple or large and luxurious.
