Valentine Buick GMC Purchased by Jeff Schmitt Auto Group

Car shoppers in the Greater Dayton, Ohio, area are beyond excited regarding the addition of Jeff Schmitt Buick GMC to the Jeff Schmitt Auto Group. The largest auto group in the area just became bigger, with nine different dealerships across the region.

Fairborn residents will now see a Jeff Schmitt Buick GMC in the place where Valentine Buick GMC was once located. The 1105 N. Central Ave location will start to see some upgrades as the family-owned new takes over the space. The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the sale of the dealership took place in late September.

The Work Continues

Dennis Valentine, the president of Valentine Buick GMC, and his sister decided to return to their home state of Michigan this fall. The opportunity to add two new brands to the Jeff Schmitt lineup was too hard to pass.

Even with members of the Valentine family moving away from the area, most of the previous Valentine employees have been offered a position at the newly titled Jeff Schmitt Buick GMC. The Jeff Schmitt Auto Group currently employees more than 500 people in the Dayton area, which makes it the 75th largest employer in the region.

Jay Schmitt, president of the Jeff Schmitt Auto Group, believes that adding Buick and GMC models to the Jeff Schmitt group will provide more opportunities to serve the community.
