Aston Martin is going Off-Roading

Can you imagine taking one of the Aston Martin vehicles that are offered from the brand right now out on the trails? These cars would get stuck in the mud right away and have a hard time pushing through the dirt. The brand that has been more at home on the racetrack and not on a dirt track is ready to offer us some big news. They have created an SUV and it’s expected to be a vehicle that can get out in the wilderness and sling the mud that you want to toss around.

The new Aston Martin DBX is on the Way

Aston Martin has used the DB naming system for a long time with many of the sports sedans and coupes offered in the James Bond movies we’ve loved for many years. This naming system is perfect for the cars that our favorite spy has enjoyed, and now the brand will offer us an SUV that can be perfect for our drive. In fact, Aston Martin wants us to know this SUV is perfect on the trails and as such, this vehicle has been shown doing something in the dirt in every single spy shot that’s been presented so far.

A Look at the New DBX

The spy shots do give us a great idea of what the DBX will offer when it comes to the features and style of this SUV. There will be a grill that appears to have been borrowed from the V8 Vantage model, a size that allows it to sit up tall and be active and ready to ride, and we can see the hint at more SUV features than you would have ever expected. Considering the competition and the SUV that has been built, this is certainly an SUV that we didn’t expect from this brand.

In the rear, the DBX shows a funky style that finishes this SUV in a different way. It appears that we see two spoilers in the back. One of them is extending from the roof and another that appears to be a bit of a ducktail that’s coming out of the hatch area. Looking at this SUV, it doesn’t seem like the team at Aston Martin is done with it, but we would like to know more about what this vehicle will offer when it’s time to get out and have some fun on the trails.

The Aston Martin DBX is in the Welsh Rally Stage of Testing

Right now, the prototype of this new SUV is in the testing process in Wales to make sure this vehicle will be right for the different environments that it will face. The team at Aston Martin doesn’t’ want to see this vehicle treated like some of the most amazing cars that they’ve created over the years. There might even be an electrified version offered for this SUV after a couple of years of this SUV being on the market for us to enjoy.

When will we see the final version of the Aston Martin DBX? This SUV will likely be unveiled in the last quarter of 2019 to be part of the 2020 model year. The DBX is meant for adventure, and those who choose this SUV as the one that can be used on the trails will be amazed by what this SUV can accomplish.
