One of Our Favorites is also a Canadian Favorite

The Hyundai Elantra is a compact sedan that makes a lot of sense to more buyers than most other cars on the market. This car was first brought to the North American market in 1991 and is now entering its sixth generation and has become one of the most loved cars to buy. The Elantra has sold at high rate not only in the US, but in Canada where more than 500,000 versions of the Elantra have been sold. While the awards are great, the fact that the Elantra, in a variety of forms has sold over 10 million units since coming to the market in 1991 is amazing. This is the worldwide sales total and it goes to show that this little car has everything we want when we drive while leaving out most of the items that just add to the price and not the value of the car. This has been the way Hyundai has operated since they began selling cars and with the number of sales that have occurred just for this one model, it’s easy to see why this has been their goal.
