Infiniti is Undercutting the Other Luxury Brands
There always has to be at least one brand that seems to offer the luxury we want at the most affordable prices. Normally that luxury brand is Lexus as they tend to fill their vehicles full of amazing features for much less than any other luxury name, but with a new crossover SUV one brand is staking its claim as the affordable option for us to admire and purchase in a market that’s quickly becoming saturated with small luxury crossover SUVs that are perfect for driving on any road.
The newcomer to the market as an entry level luxury crossover SUV is the new Infiniti QX30. This new crossover is built on the same platform as the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class and is in competition with the other entry level luxury crossovers such as the Lexus NX and BMW X1. This SUV shows up with a price low enough to be considered a great price for a mainstream vehicle, but offers the luxury features we want to enjoy in a vehicle that carries a name that has become admired on the market for many years.
The QX30 will start out at $30,945 which is low enough for you to pay for it with the change you find in your couch each month or get back at the store from a dollar every time you make a purchase. This base model will entice you with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, LED daytime running lights, paddle shifters and dual automatic climate controls. The engine made to power this little SUV is a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that offers up 208 horsepower to give you the push you need to get going on any road. No doubt this will make a fantastic choice for anyone looking for luxury at a budget price.
Because this SUV is so affordable there won’t be many of us who stick with the base model which is why you might like the Luxury model which offers you Nappa leather, heated eight-way power adjustable front seats and a rear seat pass through for $33,595. Moving up again will give you the Premium model which adds a Bose stereo system, rain sensing windshield wipers, LED fog lamps, aluminum kickplates and chrome trim at a cost of only $36,295. These two trims add quite a lot for only a small bump up in price to give you a couple great options, but there is even one more trim you can look to.
At the very top of the range you will have the QX30 Sport with a price of $39,495. This trim will add a gloss black grill, a lower ride height, upgraded fascias, a flat bottom steering wheel, aluminum wrapped pedals, Intelligent Park Assist and sport seats. Of course if you want AWD on the Luxury or Premium models you will have to pay a little more, but it’s nice to see a luxury SUV that doesn’t even break $40,000 for the price even at the top of the range.
