What Would You Use it For?

You might think that towing a trailer full of goats in Europe was something that should only be done by SUVs and pickup trucks and for the most part you would be correct. There are even some cars that have the ability to be fitted with a towing package in order to tow a small trailer behind them full of whatever you need to take wherever you have to go. The choice of vehicle to do the job of towing is extensive in the European market, but one once you might not make is a supercar.

Certainly there are plenty of supercars that are built with the necessary horsepower and torque to get the job of towing anything done. In fact some of these vehicles are more powerful than the SUVs and pickups we drive on a daily basis for work, but these cars are built for speed. When you have a car that’s built for speed typically there’s only one use for it; showing off. This can be showing off at the track while you take the checkered flag in a local race or it can be the showing off you do around town to let others see your awesome set of wheels.

Have you ever thought of putting a trailering package on a supercar? Probably not, most of these cars are collector’s items and should be admired in a showroom style collection by someone who’s rich enough to collect them or driven on the track letting us witness exactly how fast these cars can be. Putting a trailering package underneath the vehicle can only lead to taking away from what the vehicle was built for, speed. Not only should you get to show off and admire the speed of these cars, but you shouldn’t be bogged down with the vision of a goat trailer being pulled behind a supercar that’s built for speed.

Apparently the couple in this video didn’t get the message as to what their car was built for. They decided to hook up a trailer filled with straw and goats and tow it behind none other than a Lamborghini Murcielago and act as if that’s just a normal day for them. This car is one of those symbols of speed and perfection that we don’t get to see very often and was built in limited numbers and this couple is treating it the same as you would your old pickup truck.

Would you use a supercar for towing a trailer? If you had a supercar what would its purpose in your life become? For this couple the amazement and amusement of driving down the road in this highly admired limited model vehicle with an old goad trailer behind it simply went over their heads. Thankfully this video was captured to offer us all some amusement and give us something to be completely baffled by as it drove down the road. I still want to know where they found a trailering package for their Lamborghini.
