In order to properly clean the exterior glass of your vehicle you do need some tools to get the job done right. This list includes:

Your windshield is punished on a regular basis by road oil, bugs, sand, stones and even the older wiper blades you may have on your vehicle. This means it’s important for you to properly inspect your windshield and clean it on a regular basis; at least once a month will make a huge difference.
The first thing to do is put the wipers up out of the way and then applies a generous amount of glass cleaner to the windshield. Using the razor blade extension you will be able to clear the glass of all debris that has been stuck to the glass. The angle you should use should be around 45 degrees when cleaning with the blade, which allows you to clear everything off the glass that would cause the wipers to bounce over the spot.
Once you have cleaned the glass with the razor blade, spray the windshield with glass cleaner again and clean off with the low pile glass towel and then buff clean with the microfiber towel. Next you need to clean the windshield wipers. This is done by spraying two sprays of glass cleaner on a paper towel and then run the paper towel along the wiper while squeezing the wiper between your fingers. This will remove any dirt or debris that has been left on the wiper and give you a fresh and clean wiper surface. In order to have an added level of protection add the glass water repellant using a microfiber towel to give you the best visibility possible.
It may seem intuitive that you should have a clean windshield for driving, but many of us don’t clean ours or pay attention to them enough which causes our wiper blades to lose their life and not last as long as they should. With these tips you will be able to keep your windshield clean and be safer on the road.
