The Other Nissan Sports Car: 2016 Nissan 370Z
When you think about Nissan sports cars, the GT-R instantly comes to mind. It’s a true sports car – faster than just about anything on the road south of half-a-million dollars, built to take corners like a snake, and with the obnoxious engine sound that only an import sports car fan can truly appreciate. There’s another sports car the gets less attention, but it’s actually attainable by many drivers.
The 2016 Nissan 370Z is now on sale. It’s not the Lamborghini beater that the GT-R is, but it looks great and can pack 350HB on 276 lb-ft of torque when one goes with the Nismo variation.
This year is pretty much a repeat of the last model with a couple of exceptions: there’s a new deep blue pearl color available and the new Bose sound system has some nice sound enhancement upgrades. Otherwise, it’s just like the previous model year, including having the same price starting at $30,815.
You see, that’s achievable! Those who can’t fork out over $100k for a mean GT-R can still get the benefits of Nissan’s sports car technology in a nice little package.
According to Autoweek:
The more-powerful 370Z Nismo coupe will start at $42,815, including $825 destination and handling. It was also revised last year. The 370Z Nismo comes with a GT-R-inspired look, standard superlight 19-inch Rays wheels and an Alcantara steering wheel.
