So many may dream of a four-wheel drive vehicle that is capable of taking on rough terrain and making it way over logs and boulders, but for others, this just isn’t enough and they dream of a 6×6 vehicle that is a trail blazing, nature crushing beast of burden. Does such a vehicle actually exist? Absolutely, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 is exactly what you are looking for when four wheels just doesn’t do it for you anymore.

Recently there was one of these big beasts for sale in Tampa, Florida. The price for this amazing monster showed up at a price of $975,000 making it not only a phenomenal and large vehicle, but one that was out of the price range for almost anyone. The base model is actually out of the price range for most as well, coming in at $515,000, which is more than most make in several years of working. They’re even harder to find at a used car store than normal Mercedes. The jump in price is due to the setup of the vehicle and the rareness of it being offered on American soil, making it a highly sought after premium model for those with the scratch to take care of this particular itch.

The trim on this monster showed up as a blacked-out version that offers some red trim and quilted leather seating that was adorned in black and tan. While it sat on the lot in Tampa this big brawler only had fifty miles on the odometer.

The power under the hood is more than substantial to allow this big creature to crawl over just about anything in its path. This power shows up in the form of a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 with 544 horsepower and 560 lb.-ft. of torque which is more than enough to make the G63 tear up the roadways ahead or find itself playing in some deep mud with the awesome capability of the huge power and the six-wheel drive performance.

With the high-end interior, the big mud-lover is nothing but complete sophistication inside. A larger infotainment screen with a navigation system sits in the top center of the dashboard to make it easy to figure out where the GPS is sending you. The sound system and all control features a s absolutely top notch (they better be for this price) and the seats are supportive, comfortable and make a great place to enjoy the dynamic ride of this awesome vehicle.

I highly doubt whoever purchases the awesomeness that is this G63 will take it to a mud filled field for some great fun, but you never know. At the very least this G63 gives us a chance to really enjoy, imagine, and wonder about a vehicle that is a true 6×6. For the lucky soul who actually turns this in to their own vehicle, I hope it doesn’t spend a great deal of time in a garage or on the roads but rather becomes the awesome adventure vehicle it is meant to be.
