It’s been a great year for Jeep, so good in fact that they might not want 2014 to end. Nothing can stop that from happening, so the surprising Fiat Chrysler golden brand is looking to the near future with the 2015 Jeep Renegade scheduled to start hitting showrooms in January.
They reached milestones that most analysts thought were impossible earlier in the year, including pacing the industry with a 44% sales increase over 2013. Jeep dealers across the nation are seeing the benefits of this resurgence and are excited to see what the Renegade can do to keep them heading in this direction.
The looks of the vehicle are unlike anything that they’ve done in the past, trying to make sure it’s distinct when compared to the Wrangler and Cherokee. It looks more like an import than a staple of American offroading, and that’s not a bad thing considering the popularity of Japanese and European SUVs and the need for Jeep to appeal to a global audience.
According to the Master Herald:
Officials at Jeep say that the upgraded suspension on the Trailhawk makes it the best off-roader in the lineup while the base models are equipped to handle a part of what the Trailhawk does. The 2015 Jeep Renegade was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show this year and was one of the most anticipated SUVs.
