Fiat has unveiled the new Doblò Cargo in Hanover

The Fiat Doblò Cargo, the Italian cousin of the recently revealed Ram ProMaster City, has been unveiled at the IAA Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover earlier this week. As part of the Fiat Professional line, it will most likely not be making its way stateside, but you can certainly expect to see plenty of the mini haulers driving across Europe following its debut.

The vehicle’s exterior has been upgraded and now features a sculpted bonnet and headlamps with lower intakes and fog light shrouds. The engines have been upgraded as well, with the 1.3-litre MultiJet II engine granting the vehicle 40% more responsiveness than its predecessor.

Both the 90bhp 1.3 MultiJet II and 105bhp 1.6 MultiJet II engines will be available in new EcoJet versions to boost fuel economy and cut carbon emissions. According to the automaker, these so-called “EcoJet” engines can return up to 64 miles per gallon. Other features on the new model include a Traction+ system for better handling on slippery surfaces and a tire pressure monitoring system.
