6-months later, Mitsubishi Mirage continues to score high
It wasn’t too long ago when Mitsubishi was considered to be a brand against the ropes. Between a renewed interest in advertising, a great lineup of concept cars that may be put into production, and the continued success of its compact offering, there’s more than just hope for the Japanese manufacturer. There’s excitement.
For better or for worse, the Mirage has become a signature vehicle for them. While most manufacturers promote their SUVs and full-sized sedans, Mitsubishi has found their niche with the younger generation that craves fun, economy, and modern style. It might not make the cover of Road and Track, but it pays the bills and keeps them relevant through an upward economic trend.
Mitsubishi dealers across the country are embracing the OEM’s promotions, giving rise to the Mirage’s ability to be the “other” compact car. Those who are tired of Civics and too cool for the common domestic compact cars are finding solace in the Mirage.
