New Chrysler 200

Everything You Need to Know About the New Chrysler 200

What, really, the 200, isn’t that just the little brother to the 300?  It sure is and now it really is an exciting car to drive, ride in and own.  The new 2015 model Chrysler 200 is a real head-turner, with features and functions of a luxury car but carrying a price tag allowing affordability to even the average consumer, the 200 really is a car to consider in your next purchase.

What makes the Chrysler 200 so special compared to other mid-sized sedans starts with the all new exterior design.  The sleeker lines shout speed and agility to anyone around and the front lights feature a monochromatic blue light view with the LED headlights and fog lights as an option taking away the turn signals which have been repositioned into the wheel wells.

Coming around the exterior of the car, you have the option of 19 inch wheels which come in either steel finish or black, depending on the model trim you choose.  In the rear, the rear lights are smooth stylish and shout speed while if you select the V6 model, there is the integrated dual exhaust that comes standard on these models.

Under the hood the 200 brings on a nine speed transmission, regardless of the model or engine you choose, allowing for a smooth ride and easier gear shifting.  On the four cylinder models, the gas mileage can reach as much as 35 miles per gallon, allowing for peace of mind with long trips or lengthy commutes.  The V6 models have the optional all-wheel drive and pack a huge 295 horsepower allowing for power and speed in a beautiful sedan.

The interior of the Chrysler 200, pictured here from Miami Chrysler, gives any driver a ton of creature comforts.  Carrying an optional 8.4 inch touch led screen for climate and entertainment controls, the 200 also allows for redundant controls just below the screen.  With the complete e-drive technology, the center console is bigger than ever offering a ton of space for all your essentials.  The center also features both a USB connection and an AUX port to reach all devices and allow for more flexible entertainment options.

The 2015 Chrysler 200 has four trim options to choose from.  The LX model, which of the four is the most basic offers your normal compliment of features such as A/C, power windows and locks and an AM/FM stereo.  However, standard on the LX model is proximity key, steering wheel radio controls, 3.0 inch display screen with Uconnect, and the USB and AUX inputs.

With all these features, the standard LX is hardly standard, but if you want to go one step up the next model would be the Limited model offering a 5.0 inch screen with voice command and Bluetooth connectivity.  The Limited also brings two more speakers, bringing the total to six and chrome exterior trim.

After the grand options for both the LX and Limited trim packages you can hardly feel cheated, but if you still want more, the next move up would be to the 200S model.  This model really brings sportiness to the sedan world with sports seats of cloth and leather, a sports suspension, dual exhausts, bigger wheels, and black chrome trim.

The 200s and Limited models both have the option of adding the Comfort Group which adds a ton of creature comforts such as heated seats and dual climate controls.  The Comfort Group also gives the owner the ability to climb into a warm or cooled car with a remote start system.

At the top of the list is the 200C, giving the feel of a luxury car without the high price tag normally associated with it.  Even if every option is chosen, the 200C still comes in under $40,000, which is under the normal starting price for a luxury vehicle.

The 200C offers all the creature comforts anyone could ask for with the Comfort Group and adding a 7 inch display, power passenger seat, and a rearview camera.  At the top of the price chart, the 200S can be outfitted with a wood trim interior, premium leather seats, ventilated seats, HVAC memory, and interior chrome just to name a few.

Your level of creature comfort with the Chrysler 200 is completely up to your choice, taste, and budget, but with four trim packages and a ton of features to choose from, the Chrysler 200 is a sedan that looks and feels like a luxury car.  No doubt Chrysler was serious with this car and it packs a serious punch to the completion.
